The IGLA comprises two parts: a twin side-tube hull for a slim profile, and a removable high-pressure dropstitch floor with nose and bow stems to tension the structure and improve rigidity and glide. No other IKs have such inflatable stems in their construction.

As side tubes and internal DS bottom are separate parts – it`s convenient to clean the kayak after the trip and divide it into 2 parts for transportation ( if needed) and for repair /warranty service.

The side tubes are stacked one above the other with an internal partition. This arrangement not only improves longitudinal rigidity over a single side tube but at 78 cm wide, makes the IGLA one of the narrowest IKs in its class while retaining generous internal space and excellent stability.

Such construction provides high durability and makes paddling more safe.

The paddler`s place is convenient and ergonomic. There are three adjustable features, that help to make every stroke effective – a fully inflatable seat, knee supports and toe supports.

It is nice to use a spray deck while paddling on big water in order to be protected from waves (sea, big lakes). Thanks to the spray deck, you also keep warm while paddling in cold weather. Of course, it protects paddlers on a rainy day.

Installing the steering rudder makes the kayak fully controlled, the paddler`s arms work in balance and without extra forces for straight paddling under severe weather conditions
