The Every Body Design™️ philosophy is a combination of innovative technologies that reimagines how a PFD fits and performs and eliminates the need for men’s and women’s specific models to create a simpler and more inclusive assortment. In 2025, we expand on the success of the Vector, Odyssey and Ninja family with Every Body Design updates to the Vapor, Chinook, Chinook OS, Ion and cVest, and introduce two new jackets—the Lucid and the Wrangler.

Why should this product win?

The NRS Every Body Design isn’t a play on your typical ‘one size fits all’ or ‘one size fits most.’ We’ve created the technology to design life jackets that truly fit and conform to all bodies regardless of shape, size or gender. Traditionally, the only difference in PFD sizing is the length of the adjustment straps. Smaller jackets have less strap; larger jackets have more strap. We’re using multiple pieces of lightweight closed-cell foam individually cut to precise specifications determined with Graded Sizing and Orbit Fit. These pieces are then layered within the vest to create a flexible, pre-curved shape that effortlessly conforms to your body. Additionally, each size is built using the necessary amount of flotation based on paddler stature and weight to deliver the optimal amount of floatation for each size range in the most compact, easy-to-wear PFD.
