Designed by sea kayakers for sea kayakers the Hopewell and Nanaimo PFDs are the ultimate touring vests for those who want the ability to safely push their limits whenever they want.

Every pocket on these vests was placed by asking what a paddler reaches for and when. Dedicated, internally organized pockets hold a VHF and a phone where paddlers can find them one-handed. Hand warmer pockets keep cold fingers warm on long crossings. A water bladder sleeve keeps paddlers hydrated on long expeditions. Webbing stashing slots with a bungee whistle attachment keep safety gear where it is needed, and QR belt and tow line compatibility means these vests can be rigged for rescue when called for.

Both vests are built in 500D Cordura Nylon, with reflective accents and a strobe light attachment for the hours when touring paddlers are most at risk. Both run the Halo Fit System, with separate men’s and women’s patterning, so the Hopewell is not simply the Nanaimo in a different colour. Both use FreeFlow Foam, which is PVC-free, PFAS-free, and Level Six’s new exclusive top-of-the-line foam.
