We present a canoe from a revolutionary composite of recycled plastic and waste wood shavings. This innovation combines environmental awareness with functionality, marking a significant stride forward in the water sports industry.

Considering the growing environmental trend of using recycled materials, we have innovatively adapted our production to extend the lifecycle of our products. We have produced a canoe Canadier from a composite of recycled plastic and wood.

Our green concept with eco-design enables us to ensure sustainability and circular economy in the paddle boats industry.

We obtain the plastic by purchasing old, used kayaks and canoes of all brands from rental companies on the market. These old kayaks are disassembled in our factory, cut, shredded, and compounded with additives.

This process yields a high-quality material for new kayaks. We also purchase waste wood, a byproduct of wood product manufacturing. In our ROTO laboratory, we create a new composite from recycled wood and recycled plastic, from which we manufacture the new generation of canoes.

Research and development In our ROTO laboratory, we have developed an innovative and unique composite from recycled wood and plastic, aiming to preserve the key characteristics of a traditional three-layer polyethene canoe: excellent stability and buoyancy, low weight for easy portability, material rigidity, impact resistance, and UV stability. The addition of a third layer of wood to the composite gives the product a distinctive wood scent (aroma), a wooden surface, a pleasant feel, and a traditional appearance. The inner layer

provides rigidity to the hull and makes it unsinkable, while the external layers protect the foam from impacts.

The addition of a wood layer gives the canoe a distinctive surface that’s pleasant to touch and durable.

By combining this recycled plastic with waste wood, we’ve created a durable and eco-friendly product.
