Brand: ROTOMOD | Product: Sustainability

Rotomod has been committed to processing its production surpluses and waste for many years. Since 2020, the company has been equipped with a shredder/grinder that allows for the in-house management of production surpluses and waste, as well as the reprocessing of end-of-life products from customers, professionals, clubs, and individuals. This operation is carried out with the financial support of ADEME.

As a result, by 2024 we will be able to process 150 tons (surplus, scrap, end-of-life product collections), which will then be reintegrated as Recycled Raw Material into our production of canoes and kayaks, fittings, backrests, kayak seats, and industrial parts such as micro-treatment plants made entirely from recycled raw materials.

Recycled raw materials now account for 20% of the company’s annual material consumption.

In addition to these elements, the company continues its eco-committed policy by sorting and recycling all elements related to the life of the company and upcycling actions with the support of philanthropic associations.

In 2025, Rotomod received the MORE LABEL, Mobilise for Recycling, which recognizes our commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of our manufacturing processes by promoting the use of recycled raw materials.

Why do we think we will win?

  • Processing and recycling for over 25 years.
  • Since 2018, in-house recycling management through sorting, polyethylene shredding, and reintegration of recycled raw materials into our production.
  • 20% of recycled raw materials are reintroduced into production, and this figure is increasing every year thanks to the integration of industrial projects within the company and also in the production of kayaks and fittings.

Some of our products will be on display at the RISE stand during the Paddle Sports Show and our booth.
