The design ethos for this line was to build PFDs that enhance the paddling experience rather than hinder it. Nothing was allowed onto these vests until the vest itself maximized comfort. Features came second. Looks came third.

The Ashlu and Magpie are the premium low-profile expression of that ethos. A low-profile foam assembly delivers unrestricted movement through the paddling stroke and all-day comfort. These PFDs feature seven or more exterior lash points, a stashed attachment point, ambidextrous breakaway D-rings, and routing compatible with QR belts. These vests are ready for whatever paddlers want to throw at them. A spacious, internally organized main pocket takes their phone and snacks. An interior kangaroo pocket takes a flip line and other rescue essentials.

Both are cut in 500D Cordura Nylon and built on the Halo Fit System. Like all of our women’s PFDs, the Magpie is patterned for a woman’s shape rather than scaled from the Ashlu, and both use FreeFlow Foam, which is PVC-free and PFAS-free.
