Level Six recently released a six-part video series exploring the\u00a0Exhaust Pro<\/a>, its new waterproof and breathable fabric technology. The series takes you behind the scenes of the project, diving into the development process, the people who helped bring it to life, and the thinking behind the fabric itself. In the second article of this two-part series, we share the remaining three videos to help you better understand the gear you wear and the technology that keeps you dry on the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first video, A Community-Driven Fit<\/em>, offers insight into how paddling gear, and particularly fit, is developed. Last year, Level Six launched a survey to better understand how paddlers feel about their gear and what they expect from it, with a focus on female paddlers. The feedback helped identify common frustrations and highlighted areas that needed to be reconsidered in the next generation of products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What emerged from this process was a deliberate shift in approach within Level Six. Instead of adapting an existing men\u2019s pattern, the Freya was developed as a standalone women\u2019s dry suit, informed directly by female paddlers\u2019 feedback. The aim was to design from the body outward, rather than adjusting a pre-existing template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
