The project is an agreement between Rainbow Kayaks/DragoRossi and the F.I.C.K. (Italian Federation of Canoe and Kayak), the University of Pisa, the Ministry of Environmental Sports and Health to provide more than 1000 kayaks for free to Canoe and Kayak Clubs that will manage promotional activities for the sport of Canoe & Kayak into primary schools for 2025.

All the kayaks will be moulded with recycled plastic from urban and industrial post-consumption.

All the Clubs that will warrant these promotional activities in the school to promote and initiate paddle sports for the kids, will have as a reward 10 kayaks sit on top for free from the Italian Federation of Canoe & Kayak and Rainbow Kayaks/DragoRossi.

The blue Sit On Top Easy from Rainbow Kayaks made out of recycled polyethene will be provided for free to all the 100 clubs that have been selected for the project. The F.I.C.K. has chosen blue because blue is the colour of the uniform of our national sports teams

We believe that this project should win the Sustainability Award because is a real project with a contract already signed that will introduce the paddle sports to more than 10000 kids from primary school, will give 1000 boats for free to 100 Canoe Clubs all over Italy and even more important, all these 1000 kayaks are made out of recycled plastic from urban and industrial post-consumption.
