The Nitro LCS 90 Ultralight is still the rediscovery of the straight shaft and almost as good as a Lettmann Ergonom. Now in the lightest version ever build it weighs only 780g. The pressure build-up is very even, the pressure point moves forward and the typical fluttering of a straight paddle is not existing.

Of course, the Nitro also works according to the principle of the “hydrodynamic lift”. This additionally stabilizes the blade in the water and – with a reduced blade area – ensures better, more even and more efficient pressure build-up than with a paddle with a classic straight shaft.
