Designed by whitewater paddlers for whitewater paddlers, Aqua Bound’s Aerial family of paddles was meticulously engineered to address the number one priority of surveyed whitewater paddlers: durability.
Starting with Aqua Bound’s US patent-pending Lam-Lok™ technology, the Aerial’s blades are mechanically bonded together (unlike the standard resin-only bond seen in most composites), which has been proven to resist wear and last longer than any other whitewater blade on the market. Additionally, the blades feature a wide, flattened foam spine that simulates the performance quality of full foam-core blades.
The Aerial’s shaft features an elongated, soft triangulargrip shape so paddlers intuitively know their blade position in the water. The grip section is extra-long, which allows for greater flexibility of hand placement, and the slightly tactile coating helps paddlers maintain a controlled grip no matter the conditions.
With over 24 different model options – including the illusive 4pc crank-shaft and 5cm of adjustable length in the 2pc and 4pc options – the Aerial lineup meets a wide range of paddler needs, styles and preferences.
