Lodestone Leashes is excited to present our innovative, reliable, repeatable, automatic release paddleboard leash. It keeps you attached to your board during normal use, but releases you if an entrapment occurs. Simply attach the Lodestone Leash to your favourite manual quick release belt to enhance your safety.

Our patent pending system uses strong, permanent magnets to keep your leash attached to you during normal use including falls and swims, even up to grade 3 whitewater. However, if a leash entrapment occurs, you are instantly separated from your board.

Unlike other automatic release paddleboard leash systems, Lodestone Leashes release force is not affected by factors such as how you set it up, age, or number of releases it has done. It provides a clean, consistent release with the measured standard deviation of the release force being only 1.2%.

Our Lodestone Leash for use on moving water is available now, and we are launching a lower release force model, suitable for beginners, flat water and children soon.
