Our commitments to paddler safety and sustainability are equal and unwavering. Canoe club stores and paddler garages across the world are haunted by plastic kayaks which are now sadly past their suitability for use on open or white water, and without a clear route to recycling… until now. Our drive to help recycle End of Life plastic kayaks goes up a gear for 2026, with us putting maximum effort into advising paddlers on the risks associated with using PE kayaks beyond their acceptable lifespan, and working closely with our retail network to help those paddlers repurpose or recycle such kayaks.
