Our newest addition to the GUMOTEX fleet, the single kayak AURION, follows and improves the ideas first implemented by its predecessor, FRAMURA.

AURION is more stable, and it is 15-20 % faster, so it is predestined for high-demanding paddlers seeking performance and adrenaline even in the harshest conditions.

How is it possible:

• Progressive V-shaped drop stitch bottom: optimal balance between speed, manoeuvrability, and stability.
• A drop stitch part was inserted into the lower part of the side tubes to decrease contact with water, and so the resistance.

• Two-point footrest for better support and maximum control

Why should it WIN?

We are the only company that combines the drop stitch and classic inflatable cylinder design in one air chamber.

The upper part of the cylinder, which is the classic inflatable cylinder, gives the boat the necessary rigidity and load capacity, while the lower part, formed by the drop stitch belt, reduces the contact with the water and therefore the resistance of the boat and adds speed to the boat.

The progressive bottom forms a “V” at the front for better hydrodynamic properties. This bottom transitions to a flat shape at the rear, giving the boat great stability while maintaining the boat’s speed, which is its main advantage.

Of course, this boat, like our entire fleet, is made of rubber, not PVC.
