2021 Paddlers Awards Winners – Dane Jackson, Usa (Male Paddler of the Year)

Dane Jackson voted male paddler of the year 2021. Even when there are more “good” kayakers than ever before, Dane Jackson continues to stand out, to the point that superlatives come missing. In 2021, Dane continued his dominance in Extreme Racing, winning the North Fork Championship, the Green Race, and the Oetz Trophy. He back-freewheeled Sahalie, pushed downriver freestyle on bigger and badder rapids, ticked off a Royal Flush, a Fantasy Flush, and first descents in Hawaii and Kenya. Need we say more?
